Wow. Where to begin. Peter and I had a really heartfelt conversation the other day on facebook. It also kind of lead to a misunderstanding on my part. He had decided to shut down his facebook. He said he couldn't "do this", and somehow I took it as him saying he was done talking to me at all anymore. But he actually meant keeping facebook. He called me his best friend and told me he's loved me for a long time.

Watching facebook has been kind of interesting. My brother "does" it and has the standard 700 "friends"

You certainly are, and the good news is that you've always been one, despite what you believed and what "she" told you and did to us.

But now, apart from occasional visits from my son Ilive completely alone.

I don't see anyone, or go with people to do anything.

it's hard to say what you've meant to me, especially now. Like I said, nobody else ever waited 20 years for me!!

But our time was over a long time ago. It wasn't our fault, and it isn't fair.

A quarter of a century is 25 years. lol. We've only known each other for 20, but I get what he was saying. Though him saying our time was over a long time ago, made me sad. It's sadly true. He's dying of cancer and he might not be around by this time next year. We exchanged numbers, and he ended up calling me! It was so great hearing his voice. His accent....YUM. He also loves the way I say the word "cold".

We're still going to keep in contact, but we're gonna stick to emailing, texting, calling and the occasional video chat.
