Yesterday was scary as hell. A tornado hit my city yesterday. It ended up hitting the South end, causing a lot of damage. I've seen the pictures and the videos of the damage and destruction it caused, and it makes me want to cry. Roofs were torn off some houses, one house had their entire second story torn off!

We were safe as we live in the north end, but it could have just as easily hit us if it changed paths. The worst that happened was that our power was out for 30 minutes. It felt so quiet, then all of a sudden, there were all these sirens in the distance. Tornadoes are my worst fear. I just hope everyone is safe and can recover from this.
